The Development Review division reviews all development applications. These include:
- Subdivisions
- Short plats
- Boundary line adjustments
- Variances
- Conditional use permits
- Site plan review of new commercial construction
- Site plan review of multi-family residential construction
- Single family residential design standard review
- Residential and commercial remodels
- Home occupations
- In-home child and adult care
- Shoreline development permits
- Land disturbance permits
The Community Planner works closely with the Building Official, Public Works Department, the Fire Department and Public Safety.
As part of the review, the Community Planner notifies the public regarding new applications comment periods, meetings, public hearings, decisions and appeal periods.
